This morning we went to Reproductive Partners for another ultrasound. Lo and behold there is a real, live baby in my womb! The little, tiny heart was beating away. I couldn't believe it. I kept saying to Joe, "Is it real?" And it was! The gestational sac is about twice the size it was last week. Today, not only could you see the heart, but you could also see the yolk sac. I feel so lucky! Most women don't get to see their babies this early on. So I am officially six weeks and two days along. This gives us an estimated due date of February 28, 2009. It seems so far away, but I know I'll blink and it will be here. Got lots of reading and preparing to due. AND, I am starting to get morning sickness...blah ;}

It was a very exciting moment and I felt blessed to be included-to be there and see it all. Yes the time will pass quickly-soon the morning sickness will be a thing of the past. love Grandma Marilyn
